【About the role】
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Scientist of Immunology to join our R&D team and provide technical support to drive scientific research in the field of immunology. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and evaluating our products to combat cancer and autoimmune diseases. Additionally, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists and cross-functional teams to drive innovation and contribute to the advancement of ACC product and other modalities of new drug development.

【Education /Background】
• Ph.D. in Immunology, Biochemistry, Molecular biology, or a related field. 12+ years post-PhD experience (at least 5 years in industry).
• Research experience in the development of immunotherapy or cell therapy is highly recommended.
• Strong expertise in immunological techniques and assay design/ development, including but not limit to flow cytometry, ELISA, cell-based assay, and animal models.
• Extensive knowledge of immune response mechanisms.
【Responsibilities include, but are not limited to】
• Conduct in-depth literature reviews, write reports and manuscripts and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in immunology and immunotherapy (including cell therapy).
• Analyze and interpret experimental data, and present findings to internal stakeholders and external scientific communities.
• Effectively handle multiple projects and deliverables, including evaluating workload, prioritizing tasks, and determining resource needs to achieve the objectives of the core or project teams
• Provide junior scientists and research associates with scientific expertise and guidance, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Design, plan, and execute experiments in an independent manner, leveraging scientific and technical expertise to achieve defined objectives. Independently initiates and carries out the process for assay development, optimization, and validation in a timely manner as required.
• Understand and conduct in vivo experimental work (functional testing, IV/PO/IP administration, and tissue collection) using animal models, including autoimmune disease and cancer disease models, to support new product discovery projects and understand cellular physiology.
• Support to establish external relationships with CROs to drive method technology transfer, monitor their performance, and ongoing translational studies.
• Stay informed about regulatory guidelines and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in cell therapy development.
