About the role:
We are currently looking for an experienced Project Construction Management professional to lead our Project and Development (PDS) New Build Project Management team. As the leader of this team, you will play a crucial role in driving our business forward and ensuring the successful delivery of Project & Construction Management services for New Build projects across various market sectors such as Logistics, Data Centre, Commercial Offices, Hotels & Hospitality, Residential, and more. In this position, you will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive consultancy services that cover the entire project lifecycle. This includes conducting due diligence, and feasibility studies, and overseeing project management and construction management processes.
What this job involves:
[Business Development: A Client-facing Leader]:
1. Foster client relationships in all markets through active networking and development.
2. Collaborate with various JLL experts and departments to develop comprehensive solutions for clients' complex issues, integrating multiple areas of expertise (Leasing agency, Capital Markets, Sustainability, Consulting, Smart Building, Construction feasibility, Design & Build, etc.).
3. Take charge of the technical components of bid responses and deliver client presentations and pitches with confidence.
4. Oversee the contract negotiation process and ensure successful execution.
[Project Delivery: A Operational Leader]:
1. Lead project teams, ensuring that staffing, establishment, and capability align with project requirements.
2. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations.
3. Manage multiple projects in different stages of development.
4. Negotiate and enforce contract obligations with all parties involved.
5. Coordinate activities of large project teams, including owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
6. Identify and address project risks, such as Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), cost, schedule, and quality.
7. Proactively troubleshoot, solve problems, and track key performance indicators.
[Team Development & Management: A Managerial Leader]:
1. Drive growth of the New Build Project Management team.
2. Set and track team members' goals and objectives.
3. Manage team staffing and organization.
4. Take ownership of talent acquisition in collaboration with the internal TA team.
5. Foster team expertise and knowledge management.
6. Pioneer new methodologies and tools.
7. Cultivate a strong leadership presence in other JLL departments.
[Leadership&Representation: A Thought Leader]:
1. Inspire and influence both internal and external stakeholders as a leader.
2. Serve as the representative of the New Build PDS Taiwan team within the global JLL community.
