As a Supply Chain Planner, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our organization's supply chain processes and ensuring the efficient flow from factories to distribution warehouses. You will be responsible for strategic supply planning, inventory management, and collaborating with various teams to meet customer demands while minimizing costs. Your expertise will be extensive experience in supply chain planning, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Key Responsibilities: 1. Inventory Management: • Develop and implement effective inventory strategies to minimize out-of-stock, overstock, and obsolescence. • Monitor inventory turnover, identify slow-moving items, and take corrective actions to minimize excess inventory. 2. Supply Planning Optimization: • Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective from procurement to distribution. • Work along with the Merchant team to launch new products (NPI) from a planning perspective. • Closely follow up on the shipment plan with the shipping team and escalate the risk with potential business impact. 3. Logistics Coordination: • Coordinate with assigned freight forwarders to arrange for the transportation of goods. • Select the most cost-effective and efficient shipping methods. • Work closely with the demand planning team and shipping planner to ensure forecast fulfillment timely. 4. Data Analysis and Reporting: • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement. • Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and recommending actions. • Leverage data analytics tools and methodologies to extract insights from large datasets. 5. Continuous Improvement: • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance overall supply chain efficiency. • Act as a key liaison between different departments to facilitate effective communication and coordination.
