[As APAC Cluster Medical Lead]
• Develop the Cluster medical affairs strategy and plans, and support cross-functional cluster team in the development and integration of cluster business plans, including annual and launch plans
• With collaboration with Global MA and other regional MA teams, Lead Medical activities in the countries including clinical study management (Corporate sponsored and Investigator-initiated studies), publication, congress, advisory board, and interactions with external stakeholders, according to the cluster/local medical plan
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with cluster cross functional team as well as with the global Medical and cross-functional colleagues
• Provide ethical and compliant leadership, through knowledge of regulations and visible behaviour that reinforces these values
• Develop and lead external scientific engagement activities, patient advocacy and, more generally, scientific organization strategy and activity planning in accordance to company, industry and national codes of conduct and relevant regulations
• Collaborate with the brand teams to inform the marketing strategy, and ensure affiliate review and approval of promotional materials

Strategy
• Development and management of the local medical plan and budget aligned with the local brand and region/global medical plan.
• Ensure the medical plans are executed according to the medical plan
KEE Engagement
• Develop and establish strong scientific peer to peer engagement with top tier Key External Experts (KEE), through providing latest scientific medical data to KEEs to enhance their understanding of the disease/s and the scientific value of our products that address the unmet medical needs of the disease.
• Gather insights and advice from the medical community/society
• Identify and develop key stakeholders (PAG leaders, KEEs and rising stars) engagement plan
• Planning and execution of relevant medical advisory boards and expert meetings
Medical expertise and Cross functional collaboration
• Be the local subject matter expert of the assigned product/disease area information whom the other cross functional team members can turn to for support
• Provide strategic medical inputs and insights to the brand team
• Develop an effective communication network and working relationships with local cross functional team as well as with the global cross functional colleagues.
Medical Information, Operations and Governance
• Respond to off-label or complex Medical Information queries in accordance with local/global SOP, referencing to global standard responses.
• Responsible in reviewing and approving promotional and non-promotional materials according to the local code/regulation and internal guidance, to ensure the balance, integrity and accuracy of the information produced.
• Reviewing and approving proposed fair market value honorarium for services by HCPs with local CSR.
• Local Medical Reviewer of Investigator Initiated Sponsored (IIS) trial proposals received based on scientific value and sound study methodology and whether it is aligned with the product’s potential area of scientific interest.
• Timely and accurate use of the customer record management (CRM) system and submitting of managerial reports.
