As District Sales Manager, you are required to lead the hospital channel sales team to drive hyper growth of cataract surgery related businesses including IOLs, surgical equipment and consumables. Collaborate with marketing team to plan and execute strategic initiatives and Probed activities and build up a highly competitive sales team with leading professional selling skills and develop future talent.
In this role, a typical day will include:
• Achievement of territory sales objectives, Units and Value.
• Establish and implement monthly execution tactics aligned with business unit objectives.
• Implement brand and marketing strategies.
• Efficient management of the Direct Selling expenses, sales rep time and allocated resources. (incl. samples)
• Develop sales force selling skills and product knowledge, together with the trainer of the company.
• Establish strong and effective business relationships with KOLs and key decision makers.
• Assess data provided by sales representatives and implement sector sales strategies; identify business opportunities and direct efforts to problematic area.
• Keep up with administration tasks and support (Sales executions/FVR-GPC/SALSA, PAF, EFA Compliance, sales forecasts, Follow-up with marketing activities, PMP), and provide timely reporting.
• Report on competitive activities and follow-up commercial strategies, in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance of company SOPs, vigilance reporting, code of conduct and local regulations in daily operation.
• Recruit, retain, motivate, coach and develop associates, in accordance to their potential and developmental level, and seek opportunity to engage them in projects
What you'll bring to Alcon:
• Bachelor’s degree. Preferred Medical related fields
• Good command of communication in Mandarin, with English proficiency preferred.
• Minimum 5-year experience of sales / marketing in Medical Device/Pharmaceutical Industry . Preferred 2 year or above experience of similar supervisory positions
• PC knowledge (Word, PowerPoint, Excel )
• Demonstrate managerial and analytical skills
• Negotiating and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good administrator and team player
