IDE Taiwan is looking for a Commissioning Engineer (CE) to join our team and work on the erection of Taiwan biggest desalination plant at Formosa Mailiao Complex. The CE will be part IDE Taiwan on site team and will TAKE PART in all Formosa project Commissioning Operation. This position is open for relocation Work location: Formosa plant in Mailiao, Taiwan. • Support of the process aspect of the desalination plant (preparation of an up-to-date operations plan, process recognition, contractual and regulatory requirements of the project). • Execute pre commissioning and commissioning activities • Identifying and anticipating risks and issues that may arise during an operation and providing appropriate professional advice for solutions • Implementation of the facility's operational equipment • Collaborating with team of programmers • Managing and documenting execution documents and equipment approvals for execution, preparing and analyzing operational reports. • Facilitate in Coordinating the resolution of technical issues that arise in the field between engineering and execution and construction • Participate in operations meetings - daily / weekly. • Facilitate Coordination of contractor and vendor schedules. • The job includes work on schedule and in compliance with quality and safety standards • Monitor project progress based on project requirements (process, contract) • Facilitate the handover of care, custody and control to the Client. • Create dashboard metrics for pre-operational testing and provide weekly and monthly progress reports. • Assist Startup Manager with training, annual reviews and development of assigned staff. Ensure staff is represented during release time and changes.
