Details of Position:
1. Content Creation and Quality Assurance:
a. Create and proofread online teaching materials based on predetermined curriculums. Follow the scope and sequence provided by the materials and management teams. Repurpose existing materials to align with curriculum and CEFR requirements.
2. Collaboration and Communication:
a. Liaise with home-based writers, in-house materials team, and the management team. Assist in adjusting and refining materials developed by TutorABC, Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press, and Barron’s.
3. Training and On-boarding:
a. Assist in on-boarding and training of home-based writers.
【Requirements】
Required:
1. C2 level of English proficiency.
2. Good understanding of language-learning concepts, demonstrating this understanding in planning and teaching.
3. Understanding of linguistics and Second Language Acquisition and key principles of teaching, learning, and assessment.
4. High level of linguistic awareness and ability to describe language.
5. High level of computer skills – specifically Microsoft PPT, Excel and Word.
6. Ability to plan and deliver detailed lessons, considering learners’ needs, using various teaching techniques and assessment techniques.
7. Provide accurate examples of language points taught at A1–C1 levels (Understanding of CEFR and the Cambridge English Teaching Framework).
8. Application should include a customized cover letter.
Desirable:
1. Has online teaching experience.
2. Familiarity with a range of relevant ESL course materials.
3. Friendly, engaging, and enthusiastic personality.
4. Substantial teaching experience in General English at all levels.
