Orbotech's advance technology push this industry forward toward better, faster, smaller electronical devices. The different algorithm teams are in the heart of this process, providing efficient multidisciplinary state of the art solutions. As an algorithm developer at the PCB division you will be a leading partner in a team that leads the industry forward. We are looking for strong, highly motivated, algorithm developers that can deliver a working solution in a complex, multidisciplinary product. Job Description : The position offers an opportunity to develop and lead solutions of challenging algorithmic problems at the field of computational geometry and image processing. • This role will allow you to be a part of the following activities: - Leading and taking part in complex algorithmic and multi-disciplinary activities - Lead the system level features in the machine working closely with all the disciplines - Development of algorithms solutions for state of the art opto-mechanical systems - Responsibility for the accuracy and calibration of the machine - Design, implementation and integration into working products - Maintaining, testing and analyzing existing algorithmic components in a large-scale SW system - Taking a leading part in shaping the technological vision and infrastructure foundation of the team Qualifications : • BS or MSc. in exact sciences (Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electro-Optical Engineering, Applied Mathematics or Physics) from an acknowledged university • Strong C++ programming skills, at least 5 years of field experience • Python – an advantage • Experience with various algorithms development in the industry • Good interpersonal communication skills, leadership and collaboration • Ability to quickly apprehend and maintain code • Independent learning skills • Experience in a multi-product development environment – advantage • Ability for deep learning framework (ex, TensorFlow or Pytorch etc.) is an advantage.
