PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Responsible for varieties of EMI/EMC design and development of high-speed connectors and cable assemblies in networking, data communications and telecommunications areas. Leads the EMI/EMC design activities through collaboration with cross-function teams and following Molex product development processes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Extensive EMI experience and knowledge from component and system-level perspectives.
2. Perform EMI/EMC validation including EMI shielding testing, Total Radiated Power (TRP) measurement, troubleshooting, design optimization and SOP documentation.
3. Execute EMI/EMC simulation and test with a conscientious and logical plan. Review all reports and make sure the data is reasonable, accurate, and reliable. Keep EMI/EMC report clean, clear, and comfortable with high standards and quality.
4. Designs engineering solutions for mechanical and EMI/EMC hardware based on established engineering principles and in accordance with development technology practices and guidelines.
5. Lead a strategy for EMI/EMC in cage, connector, and cable in order to ensure the product passes EMI/EMC regulations and standards in stipulated regions.
6. Develop EMI modeling methods to assess and improve the designs of shielded cables.
7. Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and development partners regarding design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
8. Providing technical memos and recommendations to data packages to support peer and customer reviews
9. Knowledge sharing in global EMI/EMC meetings. Discussion and brainstorming for the promising design concepts. Establish lessons learned in terms of EMI/EMC, mechanical, EMI, and SI perspectives.
