POSITION SUMMARY Sunbird (www.sunbirddcim.com), an established leader in Data Center Infrastructure Management, is looking for a Project Manager to help manage the delivery of our software solutions. Our award-winning web-based solutions help our customers understand and manage energy consumption, environmental conditions, and assets in their facilities. Software Project Manager responsibilities include working with Engineering leaders and the Product management team to determine and define project scope/objectives/deadlines, provide project status updates, identify possible risks/bottlenecks, and facilitate the coordinate and communication of team activities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Core responsibilities of the software project manager include but are not limited to: • Work with key stakeholders to determine and define project scope and objectives • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan • Ensure project stays on schedule and adheres to the deadlines. • Provide weekly project updates that clearly communicates the status and any noteworthy developments that need to be discussed or remediated • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution • Monitor progress and identify possible risks/bottlenecks as soon as possible • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement • Follow Sunbird’s software development process to participate in full software development life cycle • Schedule and/or participate in meetings to address any issues surfaced in the project meeting or to facilitate the coordinate and communication of team activities
