Nature and Scope The Project Execution Team is responsible for executing assigned projects and achieving project goals in support of the business areas. Individual projects are based on Customer, JV, or APSF merchant product or service requirement, which have been subsequently authorized by APSF management. Project scopes of supply may vary widely across the various Product Line Teams but will generally include equipment supply, engineering design, construction, and start-up services. The primary challenge is to complete the project scope of supply while meeting the critical success factors, typically schedule, at minimum cost, to the required levels of quality, in a safe and efficient manner. Because a Project Execution Team Director is a lead member of a matrix organization, there are key characteristics and traits required of the Project Execution Team Director. Supporting Proposal Development activities within the GEMTE Taiwan in the development of clear scope definition and execution strategies, so that estimates can be prepared accurately and on time, and projects kicked-off smoothly in accordance with the EPC Phase Gate. Many of these scopes and execution strategies are cross-Product Line, Asia region and Global in nature.
