Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Testing and Evaluation Engineer to join our Advanced Design team in the newly created Asia Durability Test Lab. The successful candidate will help to get the lab equipped, operational and fully qualified, and be responsible for designing, conducting, and analyzing durability tests to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Lab maintenance, efficiency/performance tracking, and continuous improvement will also be part of the job function. This role requires a strong background in engineering principles, testing methodologies, and data analysis. This position will be based Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The position will require travel as needed to Vietnam and China to support durability testing and machine qualification and stay connected to the larger R&D and Engineering team.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop durability testing protocols and procedures for new and existing products.
• Conduct durability tests on components and systems, simulating real-world conditions to identify potential failure modes.
• Analyze test data to determine product performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to implement design changes and improve product durability.
• Prepare detailed test reports, documenting test procedures, results, and recommendations.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
• Stay up to date with TM testing protocol standards, trends, and advancements in durability testing techniques and technologies.
• Assist in the development of testing standards and best practices within the organization.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
• Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

Education, Work Experience and Professional Certifications:
• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or other related field (MS degree preferred).
• 2-5 years of professional experience in related role.
• Golf industry experience is a plus.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
• Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Fluent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in durability testing.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, equipment, and standards.
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods.
• Experience with test automation and software tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization globally (R&D, engineering, production, legal, product marketing, suppliers, technicians, etc.)
• Able to collaborate and communicate across countries and time zones effectively.
• Knowledge of golf principles and associated terminology is preferred.
