This role will lead preparation, alignment, and communication of a high quality Demand Plan (Subsidiaries and Distributors markets) with a planning horizon of current year + 1.
Also lead the CS&L function, E2E, as team member of the cross functional Distributors team Customer Service & Logistical team leader, Hill’s Taiwan is responsible for leading all activities to develop, align and communicate the rolled up demand plan for Taiwan. The final demand plan must balance cross functional input and reflect the latest commercial/customer plans in order to meet business objectives.
Build Collaborative Demand Plan –
- Lead CS&L interacting with distributor commercial teams (BDM's, customer marketing, and consumer marketing) to gather customer plans & other demand inputs.
- Determine deviations vs. statistical demand plan, gain alignment, & document key assumptions for the region.
- Lead interaction with local subsidiary CS&L teams and analytics champions to provide insights to improve the demand plan.
Review Demand Plan -
-Prepare & participate in the Monthly CBP discipline process to develop an aligned demand plan with BDM (for distributors) and consolidate inputs from local CS&L (subsidiaries).
-Gaps & opportunities are identified, quantified & addressed in the monthly cycle.
Master data - ensure master data correctness, new/ discontinued/ transition SKUs.
Synchronize Supply & Demand -
- Ensure alignment of final demand plan to supply plan. Being the single point of contact for US/EU teams to identify and ensure communication of supply risks/opportunities/constraints, potential solutions, and impact on “unconstrained demand plan”.
- Leverage weekly/ monthly calls with US team to discuss R&O, constraints and potential solutions/ escalations.
- Lead Inventory Right Sizing review for the region.
Support New Product Planning & Life Cycle Planning -
- Work cross functionally to finalize pipeline volume & first 12 months of demand for new products.
- Maintain NPD scorecard to track/measure actual shipments vs. documented key assumptions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team to manage & communicate SKU performance and life cycle changes.
Measure & Track Performance -
- Measure, report, and drive improvement of demand planning processes, tools and key KPIs (service, DPA, inventory etc.)
Communicate & Manage Demand –
- Monitor orders and shipments on a regular basis.
- Identify/Communicate significant changes. Facilitate Fast Track process and drive usage of analytics in DP/ forecasting
