1. In charge of regional hub and 3rd party inventory level management, region repair material control, and region logistics
• Optimize logistics processes and operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs. • Design and implement logistics
1. Manage freight forwarders to ship finished goods from Taiwan to Europe and to the USA and monitor shipment status. 2. Document all transportation service failures and escalate them to managers when appropriate solution is not available. 3. Develop cost-effective global transportation strategies, coordinate shipments across multiple modes of transport, and ensure products arrive on time and in good condition. 4. Work with freight forwarders to drive transportation lead time 5. Support daily operations for Taiwan inbound and outbound shipments 6. Partner with the local customs brokers to facilitate import/export operations and resolve issues of valuation, country of origin and HS codes raised by customs officials. 7. Process import and export shipping documents. 8. Define import/export requirements by finished products while working with internal and external stakeholders. 9. Be the main point of contact for communicating with internal stakeholders across MGL locations about import/export related subjects. 10. Work on trade compliance programs to make sure the company is compliant with all regulations.
This position is responsible for customers' bookings and declarations, monitoring transportation issues, tracking and tracing shipments, inventory management and analysis, preparing monthly performance reports, and performing regular reviews with customers. • Process import and export declarations including preparation of necessary documentation. Liaise with customs to rectify and issues • Ensure that all customer order is fulfilled daily and respond shipment enquiries to customer on a timely manner • Communicate effectively with other departments to monitor transportation issues and escalate problems as per the escalation procedure • Track and trace shipments where necessary, i.e. critical orders, delayed orders etc. and communicate progress internally and to customer • Prepare monthly performance reports to the Logistic Customers • Receive and action special requirements or instructions from the Customer • Coordinate and schedule in-country transport movements – collections and deliveries, and communicate to warehouse supervisor • Perform any special duties / projects as assigned by the management
