Summary
As a Facility & Equipment Engineer, this role will be ESP which is responsible for overseeing the implementation and continuous improvement of the electrical safety program. This role includes an understanding of the risks inherent to electrical energy, as well as an understanding of the relationship between electrical safety and personal safety, process safety, and fire safety.
Job Responsibility
• Be a site ESP resource primarily, a member of the regional AP Electrical Safety and Technology Team, a network with other sites and Electrical Safety Professionals, to share electrical safety information, incidents, and experiences with other sites, regions, and globally.
• Is authorized to provide advice on electrical installations. Be an ESP site rule owner.
• Is authorized to provide advice on DuPont, AP, and local electrical safety requirements.
• Has an understanding of the hazards inherent to electrical energy.
• Electrical-related facility repair and troubleshooting handling.
• Analyze electrical reliability, performance, and throughput, and propose improvement plans as required.
• Modify under electrical safety requirements and document the change in the specifications and drawings.
• Own and develop electrical facility maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Improvement and waste reduction for electrical parts.
• Identification and implementation of technological improvements, including change management, project planning, procurement, and installation of project work for both cost and capital per forecast.
• New machine evaluation and import. Manage electrical facility conditions and ensure the facility is operating within specifications.
