Job Purpose We are building a brand-new consumer-facing legal-tech SaaS platform designed to simplify complex legal transitions for individuals and families. At this stage, the primary focus is on deep research and discovery: understanding legal frameworks, mapping workflows, product research, competitor analysis, and exploring opportunities across the legal-tech landscape. As the mini-CEO of this product, you will take ownership of building, iterating, and scaling the app. You will write detailed product requirements, plan and run sprints, analyze user behavior, and continuously refine the product to drive product-market fit and growth. This is a rare opportunity to set the foundation for a transformative legal-tech product, combining technology, content, and user experience to make sensitive legal processes clear, approachable, and manageable. Responsibilities ● Drive end-to-end MVP development, from competitor research, user insights, and legal framework analysis to design, pricing, financial modeling, and launch. ● Conduct rigorous legal-tech research, including competitor analysis and market studies, to identify opportunities, inform product workflows, and guide strategy. ● Translate research insights and legal requirements into actionable product workflows and prototypes, ensuring solutions are compliant, usable, and aligned with user needs. ● Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy to achieve product market fit, drive product adoption and sustainable revenue growth. ● Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and executive leadership to refine the product vision and roadmap. ● Analyze and optimize key user lifecycle metrics (activation, retention, resurrection phases) to maximize lifetime value (LTV) and reduce churn. ● Maintain a user-obsessed mindset, ensuring the product is intuitive, accessible, and genuinely helpful. Requirements ● 3+ years of experience defining, shipping, and iterating SaaS products, ideally in legal-tech, regulatory, or compliance-focused industries ● Strong focus on product research, competitor analysis, and market discovery, ideally in the legal-tech space. ● Hands-on ability to clearly communicate product strategy and roadmap, turning ideas into prototypes or wireframe with tools such as Figma, Miro, or similar. ● Strategic mindset for prioritization and phasing, balancing business goals with technical impact and staying focused on what drives the most value. ● Entrepreneurial mindset to test and iterate, with comfort operating in ambiguity and working with lean resources. ● Proven track record of growth experiments, A/B testing, funnel analysis, and product optimization. ● Skilled in full-lifecycle product strategy and data analytics, covering the user journey from acquisition to conversion and retention. ● Startup experience or experience working with outsourced engineering agents. ● Legal background is a huge plus, with ability to understand legal frameworks and apply them in product design and workflows.
