Gain Miles (GUM) is looking for a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to lead and coordinate projects across our mobile applications, in-house ERP system (Odoo-based), and Java-based insurance billing application. This is a hands-on role bridging business requirements, user needs, and technical execution, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on scope, and with exceptional quality.
You will work closely with stakeholders in Hong Kong and development teams in Taiwan, driving clarity between business objectives and technical deliverables, and ensuring smooth, efficient collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Delivery
•Responsible for the overall planning, execution, and optimization of mobile applications, ERP (Odoo), and Java-based insurance billing systems.
•Design business processes, define functionalities, and oversee product optimization.
•Conduct project review meetings at each sprint cycle, and use daily stand-ups to address urgent priorities and clarifications.
•Ensure timely delivery while solving ad hoc issues without impacting schedules.
2. Requirement Gathering & Documentation
•Collaborate with Hong Kong product teams to collect requirements for new business initiatives or system enhancements.
•Produce complete business requirement specifications, flow charts (both user journey/story and technical developer flows), error handling, state changes, and copy tables.
•Use Confluence for PRD documentation and Figma for UI/UX design workflows.
3. Communication & Coordination
•Act as the primary bridge between users, product teams, and developers—ensuring that requirements are clearly communicated and understood by all stakeholders.
•Proactively arrange meetings and coordinate across teams to keep projects on schedule.
•Work closely with Taiwan engineers for logic flow clarification on both frontend and backend systems.
4. Tools & Workflow
•Manage projects using Jira for task tracking, Confluence for documentation, and Figma for design and flow charts.
•Facilitate smooth communication between cross-border teams to ensure progress is monitored and deliverables meet expectations.
5. On-Site Collaboration in Hong Kong
•Required to visit our Hong Kong office periodically for requirement gathering, UAT testing, and product delivery coordination.
