Our product, Glossika, is a speech-first language app that helps users absorb real-world language in a natural and confident way. We believe language learning should feel like real communication, not memorization. Every interaction is a step closer to fluency. Powering Glossika is our content platform, Viva, where we collaborate with native speakers and creators from around the world to document and share authentic usage across 7,000 languages, including sign languages. Our goal is not just to preserve languages, but to keep them visible, heard, and actively used in everyday life.

Glossika turns everyday moments into opportunities to absorb practical, useful language and reach their first confident conversation faster. ✦ About Viva Viva is the content engine behind Glossika. We collaborate with native speakers and creators to document the world’s 7,000 languages and bring them to life through audio, video, and real-world usage. From widely spoken to lesser-known languages, Viva ensures that every voice is heard and preserved. ✦ Responsibilities - Develop and maintain iOS apps - Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications - Collaborate with the team to define, design, and deliver new features - Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization - Troubleshoot and fix bugs - Keep up with the latest mobile technology developments, apps, and procedures ✦ Requirements - Hands-on experience with SwiftUI in production apps - Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows - Experience with iOS In-App Purchase (IAP) implementation - Familiar with integrating RESTful APIs in iOS applications - At least 3 years of iOS development experience, including 1+ year using SwiftUI - Solid understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines - Fluent in English and/or Chinese ✦ Good to have - Experience with subscription-based business models - Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards - Experience developing features related to audio, voice recording, video, and offline access - Experience with Firebase (Analytics, Remote config, Notification...) - Experience with Amplitude - Experience with unit testing ✦ Interview Process Step 1: Initial Interview (30 minutes) A quick session to assess your fit with our team and answer any questions about our company, products, and team culture. Step 4: Team Interaction and Compensation Conversation (45 minutes) The final round includes meeting team members, followed by a discussion about your compensation package.
