Detailed Job Description • Ensure compliance with the directives and regulations that apply in the company as set/defined by the management; • Be responsible for the daily management of the attributed account portfolio, incl. assigned nominated projects; • Assist Project Manager and team for the daily Projects’ Operation & Execution (from A to Z), for both air and ocean (import, export, triangle trade) • Ensure operational quality in line with the defined/agreed project standards; • Learn to Identify, explore and realize cost-saving opportunities in order to increase yield under consideration of maintaining operational quality; • Assist PM and team to Draft, update & implement SOP / Working Instructions relative to attributed projects; • Provide scheduled and timely reports for transport execution progress to clients, overseas offices and management team; • Supervise cargo operations, cargo inspection and site survey; • Maintain clear and regular communications with project team on issues affecting the sales performance and transport execution; • Work on internal and external RFQs, collection buying rates from subcontractors and prepare selling quotation • Identify operational and sales synergies amongst Taipei branch territory and project teams in overseas offices by maintaining close communication and collaboration with the teams; • In coordination with accounting to control AP & AR for allocated business operated by the Taipei Project team; • Complete temporary logistics-related tasks according to project requirements and superior arrangements, such as participating site survey/loading survey at terminal. • Other duties in line with current position to be assigned by management Qualifications and Skills Required • Successfully completed training in the field of freight forwarding • Majors in logistics management, supply chain management, transportation, international trade, etc. are preferred. • Basic knowledge of industrial international logistics concepts and main transport modalities • The ability to work under the pressure of tight deadlines Familiarization with current software packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel • Good organizational skills, customer-focused with attention to detail • Willingness and ability to learn and develop new knowledge according to the responsibilities allocated • Excellent communications skills (cross-functional and cross-cultural) • Fluent English skills, both written and verbal • The willingness to travel on national and international business trips (10-25%) What makes us the ideal choice?
