Company Background We are looking for a Senior Robotics Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of industrial robotic systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in robotics architecture, autonomous systems, AI/ML, and mapping/path generation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical strategies, optimize performance, and drive innovation in robotics solutions. Paintjet (Forman Technologies) develops robotic solutions for autonomous painting of commercial buildings, ships (marine), and industrial oil storage tanks. We are headquartered in the United States, and have regional offices in Arizona, Texas, and Virginia. Our R&D center, however, is located in New Taipei City, Taiwan. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: While initially this will be an individual contributor role, you will directly manage a small team of robotic SW and FW engineers. You will report directly to the CTO. Due to the frequent communication with USA-based leadership, English language proficiency is required. The base salary for this position will be $225,000/month or greater (based upon experience). A signing bonus may also be available (based upon experience). You will be directly responsible for the timely development, testing, and delivery of reliable robotic systems that will automate the surface treatment, priming, and painting of API crude oil storage tanks (up to 5M litres in volume) located in the USA. Interviews may be conducted entirely in English. Native-level Mandarin fluency, and household registration, is also required.
