Achieve Astellas Taiwan vision by delivering reliable, innovative solutions with logical analysis, strategic planning, excellence in collaboration and implementation to improve value and patient access. Build market access strategies for new products/indications and prepare for reimbursement submission  Develop integrated market access strategies/solutions including reimbursement pricing strategy, pharmacoeconomics/HTA strategy, and policy-related strategy to create the patient access opportunities.  Prepare for reimbursement submission - dossier preparation, data gap analysis and identify the solution for minimizing the gap, build product value proposition for payer. Develop engagement plan and build up partnership with key external stakeholders  Develop engagement plan and ensure understanding of various stakeholder group’s needs for value story communication.  Engagement with key stakeholders to remove access barrier and deliver value- based discussions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build comprehensive action plan to ensure success  Collaborate with the cross-functional team and reginal/global team and other affiliates through the network to ensure alignment on the access and pricing strategy.  Coordinate the internal sources to perform analysis related to price forecast, estimate price cut, validate financial business cases. Integrate intelligence, experience, resource to develop policy shaping strategies  Monitor policy environment landscape and proactively provide regular updates to early diagnose impacts and understand the industry market access knowledge to transform into strategies.  Work with IRPMA and related associations to follow up policy and environment change and engage in future policy recommendations.  Proactively gain intelligence of policy trends and involve in policy shaping activities relevant to company products and pipeline.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities: • Lead Affiliate Commercial Insights activities for assigned product(s) and provide forward looking insights to advance understanding of the relevant markets, competitors and customers with the aim of delivering major competitive advantage for Astellas products • Deliver and execute insights plans that are aligned with global counterparts and address Affiliate specific strategic objectives, tactical requirements, and decision-making needs. Includes annual business planning activities and additional strategic exercises. • Develop deep understanding of the market landscape which includes market potential, market trends, unmet medical and patient needs, market access challenges and competitors’ trend for each of the assigned products • Provide assumptions and inputs to inform market and response models such as forecasting, identification of data sources, and other secondary research • Serve as the primary strategic partner and point of accountability to Affiliate commercial leadership, providing thought leadership and insight to drive business decisions and outcomes • Synthesize marketing intelligence learnings to provide thought leadership and insight to inform business decisions and outcomes Required Qualifications: • Minimum 6 years' experience, primarily in the pharmaceutical/health care industry with broad experience in strategy development, market research, business analytics, strategic forecasting or related fields • Experience in identifying, evaluating, and translating primary and secondary data sources and analysis to provide unbiased, objective, in-depth understanding of the market, product performance, customers, and competitors and support franchise/product strategy • Strong, proven experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies • Experience in demand forecasting • Experience in project management: managing multiple projects simultaneously, management of complex projects • Understanding of the broad functions of a global pharmaceutical organization • Deep understanding of business strategy, products, customers and the industry • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and partnering skills with demonstrated ability to lead and work in a team-based, global environment • Ability to influence decision-making and gain the respect, collaboration and support of stakeholders without line-authority • Effective communication of complex messages, in writing and speech, to a broad range of stakeholders, including senior executives • Fluent in written and spoken business English and Mandarin Preferred Qualifications: • Advanced degree (MBA/MS/PhD) • Undergraduate or advanced degree in math or science • Experience working with regional or global partners Working Environment • This position is based in Taipei, Taiwan. • At Astellas we recognize the importance of work/life balance, and we are proud to offer a hybrid working solution allowing time to connect with colleagues at the office with the flexibility to also work from home.
