Location: Taiwan Department: Supply Chain / Operations Reports To: CEO, US Accounting Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Specialist to manage the acquisition of goods and services essential to our operations. This role involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, evaluating supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent negotiation skills, and a commitment to optimizing procurement processes. Key Responsibilities • Supplier Sourcing & Evaluation: Identify and assess potential suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery performance. • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and agreements. • Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains. • Procurement Strategy Development: Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and develop strategies to meet them. • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations. • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to inform procurement decisions. • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods. • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and prepare reports for management. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management. • Proven experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess supplier proposals and market trends. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Knowledge of procurement laws and regulations. • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. • Execution of CRP (Cost Reduction Performance) • Efficient in PO management • Payment and payment term management and on time Production Delivery management • Supplier sourcing and auditing • Create a new suppliers list and follow up with suggestions to RD • Create profit analysis and identify qualified suppliers • Partner and discuss technology with RD • Support factory sites overcoming shortage and RMA issues. • Supply chain management and market information by collecting and analyzing new vendor opportunities Preferred Qualifications • Certification in procurement (e.g., Certified Professional in Supply Management - CPSM) • Experience with ERP systems and procurement software. Must have a minimum of 3 years of ERP experience and must have DigiWin experience • Must be fluent in Mandarin and English both written & verbal • Qualified applicants must apply for the position with their English CV/Resume and a reference list of both vendors and previous managers.
