從德國走向世界,BRITA的歷史始於1966年。創辦人Heinz Hankammer當時用聰明便捷的方式,讓自來水變得更好喝。在自宅花園裡,以手工方式製作 BRITA 的首批產品。 位於德國陶努斯施泰因(Taunusstein)的企業總部,從那時起由一人公司發展成為一間全球擁有28間國內外子公司和分支機構的國際企業更成為飲用水優化的創新領導業者。 BRITA’s history began in 1966 when company founder Heinz Hankamme had the great idea of optimizing mains water in a smart and convenient way. The first BRITA products were made by hand in his garden. Since then, our company, headquartered in Taunusstein, Germany, has evolved from a one-man show to an international business with 28 national & international subsidiaries and branches and become an innovative leader in drinking water optimisation.

BRITA在台啟動首屆「淨灘志工日」2小時清出386公斤垃圾 用行動守護孩子的無塑海洋
海洋環境敲起藍色警鐘,據統計近九成海洋廢料是塑膠製品。台灣每年製造超過50億個寶特瓶,即使已達成96%的高回收率,仍受限於技術問題而使廢棄塑膠難以再利用;新冠疫情更使現況惡化,在三級警戒期間六都的塑膠垃圾量較去年同期高出近20%,種種危機顯示「寶特瓶減量」是我們迫切需重視的議題。 全球淨水龍頭品牌BRITA致力於提供人們純淨健康的飲水並關注環境永續,為響應4/22世界地球日,更宣布將積極以行動捍衛下一代的無塑海洋,在台率先發動「淨灘志工日」,集結超過五十位品牌員工,於翡翠灣海灘清除高達386公斤的垃圾,一同「拾」踐社會責任;更提倡深化孩童的環保教育,力邀具溫暖親子形象的YouTuber彼得爸與蘇姍媽一家出席響應,期待將永續概念向下扎根,傳承乾淨無汙染的地球。 BRITA台灣區總經理金則蕙提到:「BRITA一直來的願景,是以永績環保的作為改變人們的飲水方式。除了帶給消費者更好的飲水體驗,永續也是BRITA的核心策略、更是對社會責任和保護地球的承諾,其中特別以減塑及減少公司碳足跡為主要目標。截至2020年,全球BRITA的使用者已經透過使用我們的淨水產品為地球有效減少40億寶特瓶。今天的淨灘活動只是將永績目標化為行動的一小步,據數據顯示近九成海洋廢料是塑膠製品,寶特瓶即使回收也難以再被利用。因此,我們也向大家呼籲,從源頭做起,減塑就從喝BRITA好水開始!」 BRITA也宣示,未來全球將以四大實際作為著手,透過減少產品的新造塑膠含量、排除過度包裝、運用環保可回收材質、減少碳足跡等行動,每年幫助地球節省約40億支寶特瓶。 透過實際行動,BRITA將竭盡所能降低對環境造成的影響,貫徹永續發展的政策與方針,並將此價值觀與信念深植企業文化,體現品牌肩負社會責任、與環境共存共榮的決心。 此外,BRITA也從企業內部以身作則,於今年起開創員工「綠色護照」,鼓勵員工參與永續活動、遵守辦公室永續公約,並落實個人永續行為,表現優良的「環保尖兵」可獲得獎勵,號召夥伴從日常實踐綠能生活,以企業力量作為社會榜樣,共同打造更美好的地球環境。
