Research Assistant – Taiwan Talks Our client is seeking a candidate who has bags of initiative, attention to detail and strong research skills to join our flagship political show as a Research Assistant. Taiwan Talks is a news-talk program focused on geopolitics, particularly in Asia. The research assistant will work closely with the host and producer, helping to develop different angles and greater depth for the show. Responsibilities --Complete research tasks working closely with the host and producer. --Create informative graphics and help maintain database. --Find new guests in Taiwan and overseas to match the diverse topics discussed. --Help maintain a guest database in collaboration with the producer. --Update the editorial calendar to help guide news discussions with host and producer. Required Skills & Qualifications --At a minimum at least 1-2 years of work experience in related field. --Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin required. --Strong sense of responsibility expected. --Speed, accuracy and thoroughness will be prioritized. --Flexibility to adapt to different situations. Time Commitment --Monday to Thursday 2-3 hours, exact times (and days) negotiable --Approx. 9-12 hours/week in the office.
