Mercedes-Benz Taiwan is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join our Legal & Compliance team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a highly dynamic environment within one of the world’s leading luxury automobile brands. You will play a key role in shaping and executing our compliance agenda, ensuring alignment with global standards while supporting local business needs. In this role, you will report to the General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer of Mercedes-Benz Taiwan and collaborate closely with HQ, regional compliance teams, and local management. You will lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of compliance programs in the Taiwan market. Key Responsibilities: • Regulatory Monitoring: Identify, interpret, and monitor applicable regulations and internal policies related to business operations, including Data Governance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC), and Check Against Sanctions (CAS). • Compliance Risk Management: Evaluate business processes and assess compliance risks; support implementation of key programs such as the Antitrust Control Program and internal control system; deliver compliance training and communication to employees and target groups. • Policy & Documentation Support: Draft, review, and translate internal guidelines and policy documents to ensure local relevance and global consistency. • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders on compliance-related initiatives; assist in regulatory reporting and response preparation when needed. • Ad Hoc Legal Support: Provide legal input on cross-functional projects and business initiatives as assigned.
