As a Talent Development Trainee, you will be assigned roles across different business functions to gain maximum exposure to the other businesses within the Group. You will also gain overseas working experience through a 9-month overseas attachment in Singapore. The programme flow is as follows: - 9-month training with YCH in Singapore - Deployment to YCH Taiwan, Singapore or other countries under an 18-month training bond after the completion of 9 months training This is a Talent Development Programme for high-potential overseas talents, providing training and exposure under various developmental pathways in Singapore. The 9-month Programme aims to equip trainees with professional technical capabilities, business skills, and cultural agility through exclusive experiential learning and sharing best practices for supply chain solutions and logistics operations in the Singapore headquarters. Upon completion of the 9 months training, trainees will be offered full-time positions, in any of the YCH entities in Asia Pacific, including Singapore or Taiwan, depending on available opportunities, and individual performance. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Support business growth initiatives by identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, and preparing proposals and presentations for potential clients. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met through effective communication and service delivery. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across functions to implement customer solutions, contractual agreements, and project plans for supply chain operations across the Asia Pacific region. • Monitor project progress, track KPIs, and recommend process improvements to ensure successful implementation and continuous enhancement. • Conduct data analysis and logistics data management to support optimization efforts and informed decision-making. • Assist in developing and executing strategies for customer engagement and business development, including marketing and sales support activities. • Provide administrative and coordination support for business development activities, ensuring timely and professional handling of tasks and client communications. • Perform other duties as assigned to support business development and operational objectives.
