Report to: SVP, Head of Product Management
-The role is in Product Development & Management team of Taiwan. This will involve the design & delivery of new product development projects for the HSBC Global Asset Management business in Taiwan.
-The role will be responsible for the ongoing management & development of the existing product range and, where necessary, any rationalizations.
-The role will play a product subject matter expert for the business and ensure product design is well thought through to meet initial requirements and future trajectories where appropriate.
-Lead development (feasibility/ due diligence) and delivery of new products, sub funds, specific mandates, client propositions & solutions for AMG’s internal and external clients.
-Submit & present proposals to New Business Committees (local NBC and Global NBC), the Risk Management Meeting and other senior management meetings, as required
-Work with the team and external counsel on prospectus, product feature updates and regulatory changes that impact the products.
-Present any product changes, new fund launches and regulatory impacts to the Funds to the requisite Management Company and Fund Board(s).
-Lead the discussion with capability managers, product specialists, and sales for new product proposals
-Identify and implement cost saving opportunities such as conducting fund rationalisation, improving platform efficiency etc
-Strive for effective communication amongst the local, regional and global Product teams to represent AMTW’s products. Build strong relationships with sales distribution channels and provide clear framework for dealing with new requests
-Ensure that the proper product governance is being applied: Regulations, AMG FIM and policies, AM Taiwan investment processes.
-Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators with regard to product matters
