Purpose of the Role:
Responsible for driving business growth in the metal and railway segments by promoting SKF products and solutions. This role integrates global and local resources to develop product strategies and market expansion plans, strengthening SKF’s leadership in these key industries.
Key Responsibilities:
•Drive value-based sales growth in the metal and railway segments, including
product innovation, localization.
•Coordinate internal and global resources to formulate business growth and
recovery strategies, especially for long-term railway applications.
•Identify opportunities in products, materials, and manufacturing processes, and
collaborate with application engineers to support sales and solve customer
problems.
•Promote SKF bearing solutions to OEMs, design institutes, and railway operators.
•Support the sales team with application knowledge and strategic guidance for
customer development in the metal and railway sectors.
•Develop product roadmaps for key applications such as steelmaking equipment,
train axles, and traction systems.
•Conduct market intelligence research, including pricing, competition, and industry
trends, with a focus on developments in the steel and railway industries.
•Perform other tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, or related fields).
•Solid understanding of the metal and railway industries, with experience in product
strategy, application engineering, and market analysis.
•Experience working with OEMs, railway operators, or government agencies is a plus.
•Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
•Fluent in both Mandarin and English, with international communication and
presentation capabilities.
•Proficient in data analysis, presentation development, and team training.
