We are seeking a Senior Analytical Chemist to join our Specialty Gas Global Analytical Technology team at our Kaohsiung, Taiwan site. In this role, you will implement and maintain in-line analytical systems at our Specialty Gas facilities. This role requires close collaboration with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Process Safety, and external vendors/contractors to ensure the smooth operation of automated analytical systems in Specialty Gas production facilities. The position will be located at the Jade Park site in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, while also supporting additional production sites in Taiwan and Malaysia. Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a multi-regional, multi-cultural environment across various time zones are essential. Your Role: ．Provide advanced troubleshooting support for in-line analytical instrumentation at manufacturing sites in Taiwan and external supplier sites in Malaysia to ensure stable plant operations. ．Develop and validate analytical methods using GC, FTIR, CRDS and/or ICP-MS to meet customer specifications. ．Participate in quality and business support investigations by designing experiments and producing customer facing documents. ．Support the design, fabrication, implementation, and commissioning of new automated analytical systems. ．Utilize best safety practices and promote a culture of safety within the laboratory. ．Occasional travel (10%) may be required. Who You Are: Basic Requirements: ．B.S. in analytical chemistry, chemical engineering, or a closely related scientific discipline. ．2+ years of experience with any of the following techniques: GC (Gas Chromatography), FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy), and/or ICP-MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry). ．Fluent in English ．Strong verbal and communication skills and ability to successfully collaborate in a global matrix organization. ．Willingness to work across time zones. ．Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a diverse team. Preferred Qualifications: ．M.S. in chemistry or chemical engineering (or related field) with 5+ years of experience with GC, FTIR, and/or ICP-MS. ．Experience with the design and setup of in-line analytical systems and methods. ．Experience handling and analyzing reactive, corrosive, and/or toxic gases. ．Demonstrated ability to utilize GC, FTIR, CRDS (Cavity Ring-Down Spectroscopy), and/or ICP-MS to solve complex problems. ．Experience in developing and validating analytical methods. ．Strong understanding of analytical chemistry concepts and instrumentation. ．Knowledge of statistical design of experiments, gauge R&R studies, and statistical software packages (e.g., JMP, Minitab). ．Creative self-starter with initiative to tackle problems. ．Demonstrated ability to establish trustful relationships with colleagues. ．Effective presentation and technical writing skills. ．Experience preparing technical, customer-facing documents.

Your Role: • Chemical analysis of samples from manufacturing operations or raw materials. • Timely and accurate documentation and data management in laboratory databases and records. • Routine laboratory duties including sample, instrument maintenance. • Coaching other colleagues in Statistical Process Control methods and advanced analytical methods include SOP and WI document preparation. • Execute QC-related projects, including report preparation. Who You Are: • Bachelor’s degree in chemical, chemical engineering or any other related field. • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control or experience in the chemical industry is preferred. • Ability to communicate and coordinate across functions. • Good English speaking and writing are a plus. • Familiar with GC, HPLC, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, IC etc. • Familiar with SAP system or good Excel skills are a plus. • Familiar with ISO9001 are a plus.

Job Purpose: This position is responsible to support customer quality activities in Taiwan includes coordination of electronic customer nonconformance investigations, quality management implementation, customer surveys, quality data programs (SPC/SQC) and overall support to ensure our products’ quality aligns with customers’ expectations. Your Role: • Complete and coordinate customer surveys, questionnaires and quality data inquiries including custom customer reports. • Coordinate and arrange customer audits with sales accounts and Operations teams. Support or coordinate internal audits for plants within Taiwan. • Coordinate and prepare for customer audits of other global plants outside of Taiwan for Taiwan customers. • Pull data to analyze and report quality metrics. • Attend customer meetings for complaints and coordinate resolution to meet customer’s expectations. • Attend customer meetings to support customer process issues and resolution. • Provide technical support and direction to complaint investigators for customer quality issues. Support task forces for critical customer quality issues. • Develop and support data and communication for Process Change Notification to local customers • Prepare quality data package and present or support sales for new business opportunities • Generate reports, charts for management, charts for Quality Stand-downs and audits, and for customer inquiries. • Take direction and implement improvements for quality performance proactive initiatives • Support metrics and quality programs that enhance customer satisfaction to support Semiconductor Materials business development. • Work closely with cross functional teams globally to achieve business and quality targets. • Regular/Urgent DRB review (local Discrepancy Review Board) • Execute SPC/SQC, control limit review and OOC/OOT investigation • SPC/SQC requirement Other activities which are related to quality scope by tasks allocated as needs, in terms of:  QM Data and PU;  LIMS/Labware Admin  Data base, analysis tool (excel, Minitab, Tableau, NWQA..)/SPC/ DRB  Quarterly SQC report (L-VM TW, and buy/resell in Asia) for customers  All kinds of Customer Survey Coordinator for all BUs in L-VM  Data Coordinator for Product Traceability and iSTAR offering (TSMC) Who You Are: • 5 years’ minimum in chemical or semiconductor industry in quality role or similar • Knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS Requirements; plus reference for the IATF 16949 • Problem solving skills such as RCA, 8D, 5Why’s • Familiarity with FMEA’s and Control Plans • Proficiency with Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Mind Manager; plus reference for NWQA, SAP • Knowledge of LIMS, 6 sigma a plus • Good English communication skills both written and verbal • Confidence interacting with customers
