Key Responsibilities:
1. IT Strategy & Leadership:
o Execute the IT strategy for Shiseido Taiwan, aligning with global IT directives and local business goals.
o Provide visionary leadership to the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
o Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to recommend and implement solutions that enhance business capabilities.
2. Business Applications Management:
o Manage the portfolio of business applications (e.g., BI, POS, WMS) used in Taiwan.
o Collaborate with business units to understand their needs and identify opportunities for technology-driven process improvements.
o Oversee application support, maintenance, and upgrades, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
3. Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management:
o Serve as the primary IT Business Partner for Shiseido Taiwan, building and nurturing strong relationships with local leadership, department heads, and key stakeholders.
o Lead business engagement efforts, proactively identifying and understanding business needs, strategic priorities, and operational challenges.
o Own the intake and translation of business requirements into actionable IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with both local objectives and global IT standards.
o Act as a trusted advisor to the business, facilitating issue resolution and driving continuous improvement through technology.
o Champion the value realization of global and regional IT services by measuring impact, communicating benefits, and ensuring adoption across business units.
o Collaborate closely with regional and global IT teams to represent Taiwan’s unique requirements in enterprise-wide projects, ensuring local relevance while adhering to global frameworks.
o Drive change management initiatives related to new IT system deployments, ensuring smooth transitions and stakeholder buy-in.
4. Team Leadership & Development:
o Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team, fostering their professional growth and technical expertise.
o Manage resource allocation, performance reviews, and talent development within the IT department.
5. Budget & Vendor Management:
o Develop and manage the annual IT budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
o Oversee vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and service level agreements (SLAs) for IT products and services.
