維克藥廠於屏東農業生物科技園區舉行研究中心動土典禮,興建亞洲動物疫苗研發中心,預計投資2億元興建研發中心的無塵實驗室,並規劃動物中心及小型量產工廠,可望逐步形成動物用疫苗產業聚落。

Earthquake in Asia: our colleagues safe
🌏 Resilience in Action: Virbac Stands by Our Asia Team On March 28, a strong earthquake impacted several Southeast Asian countries, including Thailand, where Virbac’s subsidiary and regional office are located. We're relieved to share that all 40 of our local team members and their families are safe and doing well. Right after the quake, Virbac immediately activated its response plan to ensure the safety and well-being of our people. Our local teams are currently working from home while minor repairs are made to the office space. Despite the disruption, operations remain strong—thanks to our team’s agility and team spirit. Alexis Bray, Virbac’s Regional Director for the Far East, shared: “We’re incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support from Virbac colleagues worldwide. Our teams in Thailand showed tremendous calm and resilience. While the quake was unexpected, everyone is safe, and our operations remain steady. A Milestone Achievement: PCV2
A Milestone Achievement: PCV2 Boosting Production Capacity to Meet Global Demand In 2024, Virbac Taiwan reached a pivotal milestone by successfully completing a project to significantly expand PCV2 production capacity. This initiative elevated the factory's annual output from 6 million doses to an impressive 12.8 million doses. Since its introduction in Taiwan in 2018, PCV2 has experienced steadily growing demand, fueled by its success in international markets. To address this increase, Virbac Taiwan partnered with global and regional teams to develop and execute a comprehensive capacity expansion strategy. The project involved strategic enhancements across infrastructure, workforce, and operations. Over the course of nine months, the Taiwan team tackled key challenges, demonstrating resilience and expertise in areas such as: (1)Procurement and Logistics: Effectively managed CAPEX-related inquiries, negotiations, and contracts. The team ensured the timely procurement of raw materials and optimized inventory allocation. (2)Engineering and Maintenance: Successfully planned, designed, built, and commissioned expanded workshop facilities. (3)Human Resources: Recruited and onboarded skilled personnel to support the increased production capacity. (4)Production: Seamlessly handled equipment acceptance and validation, workshop relocation and activation, as well as comprehensive training for new team members. (5)Quality Assurance and Quality Control: Prepared for and successfully passed rigorous GMP audits, ensuring compliance and quality. This achievement underscores Virbac Taiwan’s commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and collaboration. By expanding our production capabilities, we are poised to better meet global demand and continue supporting the health and well-being of animals worldwide.

【Great Place to Work: 14 countries certified in the 2024 survey!】 From January 29 to February 9, you were invited to give your opinion of the company in the 2024 edition of the Great Place to Work survey. The Trust Index1 and Overall Perception2 indicators rose by 2 points at Group level compared with 2021, reaching 75% and 77% respectively in 2024. In addition to the results at Group level, the Trust Index and Global Perception indicators were analyzed at the local level by Great Place to Work to determine which countries were eligible for certification. In the 2021 survey, 8 countries were certified Great Place to Work. We are proud to announce that 6 countries have been added to the list, bringing our total number of certified countries to 14! The list includes countries already certified in 2021, and which were recertified in this edition: the United Kingdom, Germany, Vietnam, India, Uruguay, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico. In addition, we welcome the countries newly certified in the 2024 edition: China, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, Spain and the United States.
