Responsibilities •Devise strategies and plans for the clinical department according to company goals and standards of excellence & growth •Assume responsibility for budgeting and resource planning •Plan and oversee all clinical studies and associated administrative operations •Recruitment and assign cases and create schedules for all project personnel •Coordinate and supervise staff providing constructive feedback •Provide personnel with clinical training and opportunities for continuous development •Evaluate performance and discipline employees to achieve results Requirements •Proven successful experience in a project managerial position of clinical studies. •Experience in ophthalmology and clinical supervision •Excellent knowledge of standards and regulations (US FDA, TFDA, IRB) for the clinical studies •Proficient in MS Office and computer systems (e.g. patient management software) •Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese, as well as people skills •Organizational and leadership skills •Aptitude in resolving issues and conflicts • Ph.D. in biomedical science, or a related field
