R0099 - System Engineer (Hardware)

Ubiquiti Taipei office is looking for a Hardware Engineer who shares our passion for innovation and technology and desire to do something extraordinary. This position will enable you to participate in hardware design for Ethernet products, like Ethernet Switches and Gateway routers with worldwide impact. You will be in touch with our R&D labs from different countries around the globe. We expect you to bring your experience, enthusiasm, and creativity wherever you go and put them in the work you do. You should be able to think out of the box when finding solutions to new problems and make things work. Responsibilities (What he/she will do after join UI): - Hardware circuit design, PCB layout review, design verification testing, BOM maintenance, production and RMA failure analysis - Survey and evaluate new solutions/platforms - Power consumption measurement with each function block - Involved product life phase from NPI, MP, to EOL - Co-work with function teams, PCB layout, component engineering, firmware, mechanical engineering, electrical power engineering, thermal engineering, QA, software engineering, project management, ID, compliance engineering, etc. Minimum Qualifications (MUST-haves) : - At least 3 years of system hardware design - Experience with 1000Base-T/2.5GBase-T/10GBase-T Ethernet PHY, Ethernet Switch, Ethernet Router - High-speed interface design experience, 10Gbps Ethernet and SERDES interfaces, PCIe gen3/4, SATA - Experience with 802.3 Power over Ethernet PSE/PD - Experience with ESD, EMI, Surge, safety, compliance regulations - DC/DC power circuit design - Familiar with hardware EDA tools, ORCAD Capture CIS, Cadence Allegro, Mentor PADS - Team player and with good communication skill
