NPI Manager to assume overall responsibility for all activities related to the smooth, efficient and successful launch of new products for the Power Solutions business, including prototype/initial builds, documentation required for appropriate processes, fixtures and tooling, final package for test engineering, and introduction into manufacturing. • Ensure effective transition from Development Engineering to Manufacturing to New Product Introduction. • Utilize the design for six sigma / toll gate processes to ensure all deliverables associated with the manufacturing process are met for product launches. • Coordinate and transfer/transition manufacturing processes to production factories in Mexico or China • Research, evaluate and implement new manufacturing processes and techniques to support next generation products. • Effective launch of new products and acceptance by the marketplace at target profit margins, ensure the delivery of sample case to meet the urgent customer requirements. • Guide the development process to ensure multi-functional participation in the design process. Specifically, increase the level of engagement of sourcing, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, and quality so that the “design-in” results in a manufacturable, cost-effective product (v. trying to improve these factors post-release). • Work with Directors of Engineering, Quality, and Operations to ensure that designs are reviewed, signed off, and key entrance/exit criteria are met. • Ability to travel internationally up to 30%.

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, or related field • Experience in connector industry, some knowledge of server/storage/networking/data center rack level architectures preferred. • Career progression from new product design/development engineering into manufacturing and NPI management is preferred. • Well organized and comfortable working in a matrixed environment with ability to communicate effectively with cross functional, geographically dispersed and culturally diverse engineering, quality and manufacturing teams, vendors and customers. • Ability to influence change in thought and behavior across all functional groups. • Strong communication and presentation skills at all levels, from manufacturing floor to executive management team. • Attention to detail, while maintaining perspective on top-level goals
