We're seeking a strategic leader to direct TPBL's marketing, brand management, and communications initiatives across Asia. The ideal candidate will develop comprehensive strategies to establish TPBL as a premier professional basketball league in Asia while building strong brand positioning. This is a key leadership role that will help shape the future of professional basketball in Taiwan. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build and grow a premier sports brand while developing innovative marketing strategies to engage fans and drive the league's success. Key Responsibilities: Marketing: - Develop and execute TPBL's integrated marketing strategy - Lead initiatives to increase viewership, fan engagement and game attendance - Create compelling content strategies to showcase TPBL teams, players, and games - Oversee sponsorship activation and support development of new revenue streams - Drive digital innovation in basketball content delivery and fan experience - Manage relationships with broadcast partners (including commentators) - Build strategic partnerships with other sports organizations and relevant brands Brand Management: - Define and evolve TPBL's brand strategy, identity, and positioning - Ensure consistent brand expression across all touchpoints - Develop brand guidelines and oversee their implementation - Guide teams on brand compliance while allowing for local team identity - Lead brand partnership initiatives and co-branding opportunities - Protect and enhance the league's brand reputation Marketing Communications: - Develop and execute communication strategy across all touch points, including website, social media, outdoor, events - Oversee website development, content, and user experience - Create and manage email marketing campaigns and fan database - Direct content creation and distribution across all platforms - Lead social media strategy and content calendar Strategic Leadership: - Lead market research to understand basketball fan preferences - Collaborate with team marketing departments to align strategies - Manage marketing and communications budget - Lead and develop marketing and communications team - Report on marketing KPIs and ROI to league leadership - Other responsibilities as assigned by Commissioner and CEO
