Engineering Manager - SQA

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Lead to oversee and enhance the quality assurance processes within our organization. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in defining testing strategies, managing QA teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products that meet our business and customer requirements. Responsibilities: 【QA Strategy and Planning】 - Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, standards, and processes. - Define test plans, testing scope, and resource allocation to meet project timelines. - Establish metrics to measure quality and testing progress. 【Team Management】 - Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, including performance evaluations and skill development. - Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their expertise. - Foster a collaborative and innovative QA culture within the team. 【Test Execution and Automation】 - Oversee the creation and execution of test cases, test scripts, and test plans. - Identify opportunities for test automation and guide the team in implementing automation frameworks. - Ensure the successful execution of functional, regression, performance, and security testing. 【Collaboration and Communication】 - Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and identify risks. - Provide regular updates on QA progress, issues, and solutions to project stakeholders. - Participate in release planning and ensure testing readiness for deployments. 【Defect Management】 - Track, report, and manage defects throughout the development lifecycle. - Analyze root causes of defects and collaborate with teams to implement long-term solutions. 【Process Improvement】 - Continuously evaluate and enhance QA processes and tools to improve efficiency and product quality. - Stay up to date with industry trends and integrate best practices into the QA workflow.
