We are expanding to global markets with the launch of our English-language edition, bringing Taiwan’s stories to the world. Key Responsibilities: • Select and translate impactful Chinese-language news reports into high-quality English content. • Edit and refine translations to ensure accuracy, readability, and adherence to international journalism standards. • Optimize content for an international audience, ensuring global relevance and engagement. • Collaborate with the editorial team to develop content strategies and increase audience engagement. • Manage and maintain the English edition website, ensuring timely updates and high editorial standards. • Monitor global news trends to identify opportunities for content expansion. • Build relationships with U.S. and other international media platforms to facilitate content licensing and distribution. • Work closely with internal teams to enhance Storm Media’s global brand presence. Requirements: • Native or near-native proficiency in English, with strong writing and editing skills. • Fluency in Chinese, with the ability to accurately translate complex news articles. • Minimum 3+ years of experience in journalism, digital media, or editorial roles. • Familiarity with international media landscapes, particularly the U.S. market. • Experience with content syndication and media partnerships is a plus. • Strong understanding of SEO, analytics tools, and audience engagement strategies. • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced news environment.
