Product Compliance Expert

- JOB SUMMARY : A compliance expert who specializes in CE, FCC, UL, RoHS, REACH and other worldwide regulations is responsible for ensuring that a company's products comply with the relevant regulatory standards. These standards vary depending on the product and the country or region where it will be sold. - DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES: • Understanding the relevant regulatory standards, including CE, FCC, UL, RoHS, REACH and other regulations, and keeping up-to-date with any changes or updates to these standards. • Developing and maintaining documentation related to compliance, such as test reports, certificates, and technical files. • Providing guidance in projects and training to other departments within the company, such as engineering, project manager, manufacturing, and marketing, on regulatory compliance issues. • Working with regulatory agencies and other industry organizations to stay informed of changes and updates to regulations. • Participating in industry conferences and events to network and stay up-to-date on regulatory compliance issues. - ACTIVITIES, TASKS: • Support R&D, Sales, Product Management regarding product compliance matter during the lifecycle of a product. • Visiting production sites and reviewing product designs and specifications to ensure that they comply with the applicable regulatory standards. • Conducting testing and certification of products to ensure compliance with the regulatory standards, including working with third-party testing labs as necessary
