Education and Qualifications • University degree – level: o Master’s strongly preferred o Bachelor’s acceptable with relevant work experience in semiconductor manufacturing or manufacturing equipment design • Fields of study: Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or related. Relevant focus areas: o Electrical Engineering – automation (PLC, electrical drives) rather than PCB or low-level electronics o Mechatronics – hardware rather than pure programming o Aerospace Engineering – technological side (e.g. avionics) rather than aerodynamics o Physics – hands-on experimental track record, not theoretical focus o Mechanical Engineering – production machinery systems rather than pure CAD design ________________________________________________________________________________ Professional Experience • Total professional experience rating (including longer-term internships): o <6 months: not suitable o 6 months–1 year: minimum o 1–2 years between bachelor and master: good o 1–2 years after master: better o ~3 years combined: very good o 3 years post-master: ideal • Relevant experience counts about double vs. non-relevant.
