About this opportunity:
Ericsson is seeking an IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) Integration Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with multiple telecom operator customers to support project delivery and provide ongoing customer support. You will be responsible for the integration, testing, and deployment of IMS-related solutions within customer networks, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
What you will do:
• Collaborate with internal teams and telecom customers to deliver IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) solutions according to project timelines and requirements.
• Integrate and configure IMS components such as Application Server (MTAS), CSCF, SBC, and MRF into customer environments.
• Perform system validation, call testing, and troubleshooting during deployment and post-deployment phases.
• Provide day-to-day technical support to customers, including issue analysis, resolution, and escalation when necessary.
• Participate in customer meetings, status updates, and technical discussions as required.
The skills you bring:
• 3+ years of experience in telecom or similar industry
• Experience with telecom systems integration, specifically involving IMS architecture and VoIP technologies, is a strong plus.
• Dynamic and self-driven professional attitude with Mobile Network technology expertise
• Excellence in teamwork and communication.
• Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Knowledge of cloud-native architecture (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) is an advantage.
Introduction :
As a networking engineer, you will be managing one or more networking system technology areas, includes routers, networking controllers, bridges, and or networking software related to these technologies. This role also includes building proof-of concept solutions with networking system technology, architecting and implementing networking solutions to address client requirements. Also, this role requires you to work with products or solutions based on any vendor hardware and/or any vendor operating system software.

Setting up the infra for any client on the go
Constant monitoring of the switches, upgrading when necessary
Quick and logical solutions for critical problems
Design and implement new solutions and improve resilience of the current environment
Speak to customers/End users via email and phone for understanding and clarifications.
Performs technical service and/or pre-sales support for Networking. Assists in engaging services activities including systems assurance, installation, account management, basic problem determination, discontinuance and relocation for network systems.
In-depth knowledge of communication protocols and routing protocols (BGP, MPLS, IS-IS, OSPF).

Responsibilities:
- Develop platform BSP and driver software based on Linux.
- Migrate existing software to new hardware platform.
- Design and implement new features for new requirements.
- Participate in requirement review, technical research, design, implementation, testing and documentation.
- Work with hardware team in system design, software/hardware integration and troubleshooting.
- Work with support team for customer issue analysis and solution.
Prerequisites:
- Minimum 2 years of work experience and solid in C programming
- Experience in Bash/Python programming
- Familiar with Unix/Linux environments
- Experience in Linux BSP and device driver development
- Familiar with boot loader and Linux boot process
- Familiar with Linux peripheral devices such as: PCI, USB, UART, I2C, SPI, GPIO, etc.
- Familiar with Linux environment and tools

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills in software/hardware integration

Responsibilities
Execute performance validation plan in emulator and silicon platform
Collect and organize test results
Update the provided test cases according to the instructions given from senior colleagues
Build test regression
Minimum Qualifications
(Most important) Familiarity with Linux command line, Git and Gerrit
(Most important) Familiarity with data visualization with Google Sheets
Modify C source file parameters based on the given instructions
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Python programming
Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Jenkins
Familiarity with the use of Zebu emulator and Verdi
Familiarity with Little Kernel and Android GDB
1. Conduct and observe modem and Android Telephony automated tests across diverse platforms, both on-site and in house settings.
2. Review the results of automated testing, incl. analyzing logs.
Document and identify any resulting defects, and refine the scripts or configurations to address test failures.
3. Address test script defects and validate resolutions, incl. SDK*, APK*.
4. Oversee and handle devices utilized for testing, along with the servers operating those tests.
5. Valid results and future development demand rigorous data analysis, error correction, and thorough documentation.
Technical expertise, data skills, meticulousness, and strong communication are crucial for success.
