Position Description:
Join RVI's innovative Optical Engine development team, focusing on advanced packaging processes for next-generation optical communication engines. This role involves the design, development, process integration, and testing of advanced optical modules, including silicon interposers, glass interposers, optical component integration, and high-end substrates. The engineer will lead packaging process design from concept to production, ensuring system-level performance, thermal and optical optimization, and overall product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Lead the design and integration of optical engine packaging for silicon photonics products, including optical structure design, thermal management, optoelectronic conversion, and process integration.
2.Collaborate on electrical and optical simulation, design validation, and component selection for chips and optical elements.
3.Communicate with upstream vendors to define specifications for electronic and optical components, and provide packaging technology recommendations.
4.Assist in the prototyping and fabrication of silicon photonic optical engines, ensuring compliance with design specifications and achieving high product quality standards.
Skyeuv is seeking a hard working optical engineer with enthusiasm for learning and creating pioneering technologies. In this role, you will build the prototype of automatic inspection products and have the opportunity to work with cross-functional team. The position allows you to work on a wide spectrum of topics, including optical design, prototyping, system integration, automation and developing metrology.

Position Description:
As an Analog Circuit Design Engineer at RVI, you will be a key contributor to the development of our next-generation Optical Engine. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, optimizing, and debugging analog circuits and systems used in advanced optical communication modules, including silicon interposers, glass interposers, and high-end substrates. This role spans from initial concept to mass production, ensuring the performance and quality of the optical engine meet industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Design and develop innovative analog circuits and systems for optical engines and related applications.
2.Test, optimize, and debug analog circuits to ensure performance meets design specifications and functional requirements.
3.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system engineers, software engineers, and optical engineers, to achieve product development goals.
4.Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and provide technical support and tailored solutions.
5.Develop and execute test plans, analyze test data, and propose design improvements.
6.Stay updated on emerging technologies and incorporate relevant advancements into circuit design to enhance product competitiveness.
Overview:
The Senior TCAD Engineer will be a key member of our technology development team, responsible for advanced modeling and simulation of semiconductor devices and fabrication processes. This role involves defining and executing TCAD projects for novel device architectures, optimizing performance, and analyzing results to guide process integration and design teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and validate TCAD models for advanced technology nodes.
• Run simulations to assess device performance (IV, CV, breakdown, reliability).
• Interpret results to guide design and process improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to align on technology roadmap.
• Act as TCAD expert and provide technical support.
• Automate simulation tasks using scripting (Python, Perl, TCL).
• Compare simulations with silicon data and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare technical reports and present to cross-functional teams.
• Stay updated on TCAD trends and enhance modeling capabilities.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to IP development.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in TCAD process and device simulation within
the semiconductor industry.
• Deep understanding of semiconductor device physics and fabrication processes.
• Expertise with commercial TCAD simulation tools such as Synopsys Sentaurus or
Silvaco Atlas.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, TCL) for tool automation.
• Experience with analog focused process technologies, particularly high voltage
transistors such as drain extended CMOS or LDMOS devices.
1.Optical components performance evaluation and validation (including laser、lens、 PIC .. etc.)
2.Optical simulation for evaluation, optimization and tolerance analysis.
3.Lead project to accomplish light engine design by your professional skill and good cross-functional communication.
4.Handle NPI process and transfer to production (determine process specification、SOP .. etc.)
1、Contribute to optical design, simulation, and selection of key components for camera devices, including sensors, lenses, filters, and light sources.
2、Perform optical verification and testing for various optical elements such as sensors, lens, ICR, Fresnel lens, and IR/LED illumination systems.
3、Define and manage image quality standards and optical component specifications to ensure consistency across development and production.
4、Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the camera manufacturing process, including:
Image testing methodology
Optical component evaluation
Troubleshooting and resolution of optical-related production issues

a. >3 yrs working experience in optical industry.

c. Hands on ability with accurate optical alignment experience.
d. Cowork experience with Mechanical and production team.
e. English communication ability and Mandarin communication ability.
3. PREFERRED:
a. Laser design experience: laser beam modeling experience, POP experience.
b. Accurate laser adjustment on optical table experience.
c. Optical communication related product experience.
