Purpose of the Position:
1. Handles quality-related issues and abnormalities by identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and driving preventive measures to ensure long-term resolution and continuous improvement.
2. Supports the understanding and implementation of the Quality Management System and Product Quality Architecture, ensuring compliance with internal and external specifications and standards.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
1. Assists in applying and maintaining quality evaluation and control systems for processing materials into finished or partially finished products.
2. Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing teams to uphold quality standards throughout production processes.
3. Contributes to inspecting, testing, and evaluating products and production equipment under established methods and procedures.
4. Conduct quality assurance tests and performs statistical analysis to identify non-conforming products or materials.
5. Participates in auditing quality systems to identify deficiencies and supports corrective actions and improvement efforts.
6. Learns and applies basic concepts of product design, incoming material inspection, production control, product evaluation, and reliability testing under guidance.
7. Provides assistance to team members and managers on smaller projects, supporting the use of quality tools and methods to achieve team goals.
8. Follows standard practices and procedures to analyze situations or data and assists in identifying solutions under supervision.
Education & Experience:
1. Master, major in Engineering, Statistics, IE and technical related field.
2. Basic training aligned with manufacturing & engineering institute learning journey.
3. Demonstrates potential to deliver results through academic projects or work experience.
4. Familiarity with ISO9001 system concepts and willingness to learn system management.
Required Skills:
1. Exposure to core quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and Control Plans.
2. Basic knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and relevant standards.
3. Familiar with using 8D or other methodologies to assist in handling abnormalities.
4. Proficient in English, both written and spoken (TOEIC 600 or equivalent proficiency).
5. Eager to learn technical concepts to support quality assurance processes.
6. Builds positive connections with team members and other departments to facilitate collaboration.
7. Organizes and prioritizes tasks effectively to meet deadlines and quality standards.
