【Position Overview】
We are seeking an experienced Image Processing Engineer to join our R&D team, focused on solving real-world challenges in microscopy image analysis.
In this role, you will develop and optimize advanced image processing algorithms to extract and label biological structures — for example, identifying in-focus neurons in low-light microscopic images and generating precise patterns (masks) — to support high-accuracy research and specialized applications.
【Key Responsibilities】
● Develop and refine image processing algorithms, including denoising, edge detection, feature enhancement, and low-light image processing.
● Solve complex imaging problems faced by the R&D team, designing robust solutions for biological image datasets.
● Collaborate with customers to understand application-specific requirements and assist in generating high-quality patterns (masks) tailored to their needs.
●Utilize OpenCV (Python or equivalent), ImageJ, and Python libraries (NumPy, Pillow, scikit-image) for algorithm development and validation.
●Provide technical consultation and communicate solutions effectively to cross-functional teams and customers.
●Apply AI and machine learning methods for image segmentation, object recognition, and feature extraction. (Preferred)
【Requirements】
●No formal degree requirement;
●We prioritize candidates with proven expertise and hands-on experience in image processing.Strong knowledge of image processing techniques and algorithms;
●Ability to independently address complex imaging challenges.Proficiency in using OpenCV (Python or equivalent environment).
●Strong English communication skills for writing technical documentation, collaborating across teams, and explaining solutions to customers.
【Highly Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications】
●Expertise in C++ development, particularly using native OpenCV.
●Experience applying AI and machine learning methods to image analysis, recognition, and feature extraction.
●Familiarity with microscopy, cellular, or tissue image datasets and understanding their unique challenges.
●Background in biomedical imaging, neuroscience, or cellular biology.
