•Support the project and validation manager in preparing Project Execution Plan and update site Validation Master Plan. •Prepare and implement qualification protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ) used in the production of pharmaceutical products. Where possible, as assigned by the project manager to manage projects related to movement and modification of the manufacturing equipment. •Implement qualification activities, validation protocols, and calibrations in accordance with the needs of the production schedules. •Conduct periodic review of URS/FRS/DDS or DQ to meet the latest regulatory requirements or guidelines from ICH or FDA CFR’s. •Assist in the development and revision of Validation SOPs. •Assist in troubleshooting of equipment and process deviations. •Provide timely and accurate information of validation parameters established for equipment and facilities. •Acts as liaison with Engineering, Technical Service, and Quality Assurance. •Assist engineers/technicians in the development and completion of validation studies and protocols as needed. •Other tasks as assigned by the company.

1. Develop CAPEX projects of multiple million USD value. Use project requirements defined by leadership team to develop concepts, produce designs, obtain quotes, compile financial models, produce project schedules, perform safety assessments, and produce business cases to support application for funds. 2. Execute CAPEX projects of multiple million USD value. Manage internal and external stakeholders including suppliers and contractors to safely deliver project deliverables on schedule and on budget. Chair internal project meetings, track spend and schedule progress, and report into engineering management. Perform post-project review and effectiveness measurement. 3. Develop & execute portfolio of continuous improvement projects (CIP), consisting of; a. projects proactively generated by engineering team through application of their knowledge and expertise and application of tools such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Capacity Models b. inputs gathered from local teams (operations, safety, quality) and global teams (NPI, lean, technology, and cost reduction teams.) 4. Contribute to regular priority alignment and performance reviews with regional GMs and operations managers to ensure regular, structured alignment of CIP program. 5. Perform tests and evaluate data to make recommendations on automation and equipment performance. 6. Collect and analyze material handling or process needs to select suitable off-the-shelf automation such as industrial robots, collaborative robots, AMRs, AGVs, etc. 7. Program, teach, integrate, and troubleshoot off-the-shelf automation like robots, AMRs, etc. with connecting process equipment, conveyors, and buffers. 8. Communicate ideas and project status clearly and professionally in writing and orally. 9. Provide necessary documentation of activities, results, procedures, project scope, and assignment status. 10. Co-ordinate submission of Kaizen, Permit, and Engineering Change applications to internal change control council. 11. Execute program of engineering audits to ensure deviations from published standards are identified and addressed. 12. Lead and continuously develop local engineering team to deliver engineering scope; a. Use regional engineering function objectives to derive SMART objectives for local engineering team members b. Manage continuous development of self and team members through application of structured planning & review process and identification/attendance of appropriate training programs.
