Application engineer is responsible for tech support to customers. Externally, it is act as technical interface with customers to provide solutions and technical trainings through TSC Academy. Internally, it is the bridge between customer and internal R&D engineering teams. The role of Application Engineer is not only to provide the high-quality technical support for products, but also needs to manage both customer relationships and the technical solution of customer’s requests, deliver customer and partner experience through timely response, cross departments collaboration and execution to engage the projects.
Responsibilities:
- Technical support, including pre-sales/post-sales scoping, troubleshooting, solution providing and close case to engage the projects.
- Collaborate effectively with internal relevant departments for the solution.
- Collect and report the customer feedback and market competitor info
- On-site support key customers to resolve the issues.
- Technical training/partner events for Sales and partners.
- New project product ECAT testing according to user experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide technical advice, service, and support to sales representatives, resellers, and customers for the proper selection of power transmission products. Review supplier reports and feedback and verify actual conditions against supplier corrective actions.
• Support the design, validation, commercialization, and troubleshooting of personal mobility products. Deliver technical training to Gates team members and customers to expand best practices in the Taiwan market.
• Provide specialized technical services for data centers, liquid cooling systems, and electronic water pumps, including the design, implementation, and maintenance of technical solutions.
• Support international colleagues and OE customers involved in product management, production, and sales across the globe for personal mobility and electronic water pump applications.
• Act as a self-managed project manager to successfully lead independently assigned technical projects or long-term initiatives.
• Explain complex, challenging, and/or sensitive information while working to build consensus.
• Troubleshoot applications with customers on-site as needed.
• Perform other tasks or duties as assigned by supervisors.

• 支援全球範圍內擁有產品管理、生產和銷售的國際同事以及個人出行及電子水泵的OE客戶;
• 擔任自我管理的項目經理,成功領導獨立分配的技術項目或長期活動;
• 解釋複雜、困難和/或敏感的信息;努力建立共識;
• 能夠根據需要在現場與客戶一起解決應用程序的故障;
• 主管分配的其他任務或職責。
QUALIFICATIONS:
• University degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Materials, or related fields specializing in motorcycle transmission or data center electronics.
• Over 10 years of technical experience in motorcycle transmission or data center-related products.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic competency in CAD software such as SolidWorks.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in preparing presentations, technical documents, and design manuals.
• Strong team spirit and excellent responsibility coordination abilities.

• 10年以上機車傳動或數據中心相關產品技術經驗
• 熟練掌握Microsoft Excel,以及SolidWorks等CAD的基本能力
• 良好的英語溝通能力
• 注重細節,特別是在準備演示文稿、技術文獻和設計手冊時
• 具備團隊合作精神與良好的責任協調能力
1. Managing the company products and providing technical support.
2. Analyzing technological problems with providing solutions to address customer’s needs.
3. Collaborating with sales team and Product Managers for obtaining accurate information of application usage, system operations, and product management.
4. Preparing technical element for product presentations, conducting training sessions for demonstrating new products and services.
5. Supporting the region’s FAE and sales team in organizing the presentation and training of product demonstration of proposal with involved in defining the technical solution guidelines for sale team support.
6. Assisting the Market Development for performing the desired tests and requirement procedures, preparing detailed schedule regarding the project specifications, conducting research on market trends in field application, analyzing the emerging trends for recommending the new application engineering products.
