Position Overview
We are building a high-growth content platform empowering creators to publish, interact, and monetize through livestreaming, short-form content, and community-driven engagement. Our backend team is responsible for building the core services that support real-time user interactions, creator point systems, task mechanics, and scalable content workflows.
Key Responsibilities
■ Design and build scalable, high-availability backend services to support real-time content interactions, creator rewards, and task systems.
■ Lead or contribute to system architecture design that supports high concurrency and resilient distributed operations.
■ Develop reliable data models and APIs with strong consideration for consistency, performance, and maintainability.
■ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and deliver product-aligned features with speed and quality.
■ Establish and uphold best practices in system observability, monitoring, and incident response.
■ Work closely with infrastructure to ensure backend services are robust, cost-efficient, and operable in cloud-native environments.
■ Support deployment, scaling, and operational stability through a deep understanding of container orchestration and infrastructure automation.
Requirements & Qualifications
■ 5+ years of experience building and operating backend systems in production environments.
■ Strong knowledge of designing systems for high concurrency, real-time data processing, and distributed architecture.
■ Proficiency in Go and/or PHP, with solid experience in API design and backend architecture principles (e.g., CAP theorem, CQRS).
■ Hands-on experience with relational databases and caching systems.
■ Familiarity with modern cloud platforms (preferably GCP), including compute, networking, messaging, and storage components.
■ Practical experience operating containerized services in orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
■ Proactive approach to observability, including structured logging, metrics, and alerting systems.
■ Strong ownership mindset and the ability to make pragmatic technical decisions in fast-paced environments.
Nice-to-Have Skills
■ Experience with GCP-native services such as Load Balancer, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, Memorystore, and GKE.
■ Experience managing or migrating observability stacks (e.g., ELK, Fluentd), or optimizing logging/monitoring pipelines.
■ Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Helm) and CI/CD practices.
■ Contributions to open-source projects or a portfolio demonstrating system design and backend expertise.
■ Knowledge of cloud cost optimization strategies and high-availability architecture patterns.
