Job Summary
The Ethics Specialist is responsible for educating, investigating, and enforcing the Brand Partner agreement and the corporate compliance terms and policies.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential
• Complete investigations by looking into possible violations of the terms and policies.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures to complete investigations when policy violations are proven.
• Recommend corrective actions to the manager for policy violations.
• Educate employees and Brand Partner on the USANA Brand Partner terms and policies.
• Provide correspondence on issues related to compliance matters in a timely manner.
• Audit retail sales verification for compliance and ensure all Brand Partner conduct their business in a legal and ethical manner and adhering to terms and policies.
• Process all requests for person-to-person transfer of Brand Partnerships in accordance with corporate guidelines.
• Process requests for moving, re-entries and placement changes in accordance with corporate guidelines.
• Liaise with government agencies and internal USANA Legal department on compliance and regulatory requirements and documents.
• Prepare, file and maintain all records and documents in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Additional
• Attend internal and external trainings as required on various topics relevant to personal development and the Company's goals.
• Travel domestically and internationally on weekends and nights as required at USANA/Brand Partner events.
• Maintain consistent, effective and respectful communications and establish an efficient channel of communications with Corporate, managers, colleagues, and Brand Partner.
• Perform other duties or ad hoc projects as assigned or needed.
Qualifications/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements
• University graduate.
• A minimum of 3 years' previous experience in Compliance and/or Customer Service, with previous experience in the Direct Selling industry is favorable.
• Good command of both written and spoken English.
• Effective public speaking and presentation skills.
• Good problem solving, questioning and investigative skills.
• Must possess a high degree of ethics and integrity, and be willing to adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Ability to work autonomously and within strict deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Must be detail-oriented and results-oriented, with excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Must have working experience in preparing, filing and organizing files and documents for government compliance requirements.
