Project Manager– Device Interface Solutions Field Team
Device Interface Solutions is a growing team within Semiconductor Test Division focused on designing custom interface hardware, the advanced PCB Assembly that links with our customer’s DUTs (Device Under Test) with Testers.
We have an immediate opportunity for a Customer Project management. This is a great opportunity for someone with great organizational skills, good communication, and who wants to have exposure to customers and colleagues around the world. Candidates will be matched with a mentor who will teach them our processes in an on-the-job learning environment.
Our Project managers are the interfaces between our technologists, our supply chain team, and our customers. Using your exemplary communication skills, you will help fulfill customers requests for new design and new manufacturing builds of existing designs. You will primarily be in charge of customers in Taiwan.
This role of project manager will be focus on Taiwan customers projects.
Responsibility:
• Work customer project schedule, resource planning, trace all milestone
• Major customer communication interface to internal teams for project schedule, RMA, quality issues
• Manage customer projects forecast
• Accountable for project execution and on time delivery management
• Coordinate cross-functional team collaboration for project successful execution and fulfillment
• Manage engineer develop resource and plan
• Work with internal team for capacity planning, including forecasting long LT components demand
• Timely update of project forecast and progress status in forecast system
• Work with Admin on project logistics and finance requirements
• Host regular base meetings and other projects meetings as needed

1. Main Objectives
• Serve as key point of contact for the customer and company engineering organization
• Manage customer and development projects to ensure customer and company success
• Manage Development activities with cross-functional groups to ensure the projects are within the defined specifications, cost and delivery schedule
• Own and present technical data, concepts, and specifications to customers
• Provide timely update to management and project requestors with the clear status of the development projects
2. Responsibilities
• Interface and engage with customers at the technical and end-user level
• Translate the information, request or specification given by requestors into the project requirement
• Prepare cost estimate for engineering hours, prototype spending and final system cost
• Drive the DFMEA, Risk Assessment and brainstorming for new system or feature development
• Preparation, planning and coordination of project tasks to ensure compliance with its requirements, schedule and cost, with involved task managers and engineers
• Management and coordination of the development materials and tools
• Ensure complete verification and validation, with proper hand-over to operation and field service team including the necessary technical documentations and training
• Communication of development project related information to other stakeholders
• Interface with upper management, engineering, sales, and field service to ensure projects have adequate resources, communicate status, and to coordinate resolution of technical issues
• Any tasks that may be assigned to you from time to time
