As the International Fitness Center Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of a large fitness center that caters to a diverse, multicultural audience, ranging from teens to seniors. You will oversee the facility's classes, events, and personal training services, as well as manage and train the fitness staff, personal trainers, and reception staff. Additionally, you will be expected to stay up-to-date with modern-day fitness trends and technologies, such as wearable tech, and incorporate them into the center's offerings.

Key Responsibilities
• developing and implementation of overall marketing strategic plan, with Principal and Board approval
• collaborating with school’s Admission staff to support school's enrollment efforts
• conducting market research and analysis to ensure HCAS stays relevant and competitive to current trends and developments in the international school and American school markets as well as within social media in general
• developing and implementing online marketing campaign, such as Facebook with Google analytics
• supporting Senior Leadership with coordination of the community Weekly Overviews
• collaborating with the Administrative Leadership Team to create a marketing handbook
(including but not limited to rules and procedures for promotion) as well as promotion/event calendar
• developing and implementing procedures for effective marketing management (including but not limited to the maintenance of the media release forms, planning timelines for posting on the school's social media platforms and monitoring the feedback in the comments, executing the updates to the school's website, and updating annual publications)
• ensuring that all marketing items are properly represented in English and Mandarin Chinese
• collaborating with the Administrative Leadership Team to plan and execute school and community events/tasks, including but not limited to, WASC Action Groups, community gatherings, and after-hours activities and competitions
• attending the school activities (e.g., labs, extracurriculars, athletics) and events to take the necessary pictures and videos for various marketing uses
• planning and executing promotional tasks/campaigns that increase brand awareness and profitability, such as Spring and Summer Info Sessions
• planning and collaborating with Heads of Department to attain and understand classroom content to make 4-7 postings a week, showcasing a different department each week
• collaborating with the Data Manager to collect, store, and evaluate marketing analytics and use this to make recommendations to the Principal and present findings to the Board upon request
• generating local and international partnerships that will benefit our Lion Pride
• establishing and maintaining a school branding image and protocols for all staff, students and parents to follow
• Collaborating with the Business class and students on select Marketing projects
• collaborating with the College Counselors to manage alumni relations, creating opportunities for alumni to continue engagement in our school community
• collaborating with the Administrative Leadership Team to create the school calendar for each upcoming school year
• planning for and presenting at the New Student Orientation at the beginning of each academic
year

Operations & Safety
Monitor swimming pool area and surroundings to ensure guest safety and prevent hazardous behavior; respond promptly to emergency situations and perform lifesaving procedures when necessary.
Inspect and maintain pool equipment, perform routine cleaning, and ensure proper water quality and hygiene standards are met.
Guest Services
Be fully familiar with all products, services, equipment, and promotions available at the Fitness Center. Provide accurate information and assist guests with inquiries or needs related to fitness and wellness facilities.
Training & Certification
Must hold a valid lifeguard certification issued by the Sports Administration (or an equivalent recognized authority). Maintain readiness through regular safety drills and training.
Accountability
This position reports to the Recreation. Responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and guest-friendly environment in the pool and fitness areas at all times.
