YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Cooperate with R&D researchers to generate the technical data and services for materials promotions including customer feedback tracking.
2. Establish the knowledge and know-how in molding relevant field, and define technical standards to enable best practices in all technical areas in collaboration with INN technical lab aligning to technical parameters in customers side.
3. Assist R&D researchers to find out the RcA of customers complaint, but also hand-over of his/her specific technical work package to lab relevant colleagues (QC) for following quality tracking.
4. Foster experience exchange and promote knowledge transfer between sites within the region.
5. Provide technical training to customers about material, processing and design guideline.
6. Establish new testing method, SOP which are able to simulate real situation as close as customers in strategic key industries.
7. Knowledge of common laboratory procedures and skill and mechanical aptitude in handling laboratory equipment as well as modifying/adapting laboratory equipment for specific development programs.
8. Work together with production, product management. Assist Head of Innovation TPU APAC to manage day to day business.

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager who plays a critical role in linking R&D, Product Management, Manufacturing and Quality. The UV-curable products represent a critical technology platform within Covestro's CA (Coating & Adhesive) portfolio, enabling advanced manufacturing processes across multiple high-tech industries.
The TPM owns the UVR portfolio from a technical(recipe/performance) point of view and as such plays an integral role in:
• The decision to start a product development.
• Introducing new raw materials or vendors.
• Upscaling new products in production.
• Monitoring and managing our process capability, product performance, including specs.
• Agreeing to material performance metrics with customers.
• Knowledge Management of UVR (UV-curable resin) products across the organization including Tolling.
• Addressing and follow-up of technical quality complaints.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Accountable for product formulations and specifications for global UVR product line.
2. Drive the optimization and harmonization of product quality (specified and performance values) for UVR products, globally (FMEA, QRA).
3. Drive technical validation & qualification of Monomer sourcing / partnerships.
4. As primary global contact, evaluate and decide upon specifications (properties and ranges) from a product or customer perspective, according to specification process.
5. Be part of MoC processes in production and in R&D that might affect product quality or registration (eg. scaleups, transfer of production, recipe changes, rework); evaluate impact on product and advise according to role in given process descriptions.
6. Support development and implementation of global product strategy for UVR, focusing on product design and product portfolio performance management.
7. Drive profitability and sustainability of UVR portfolio through proactive quality and regulatory risk mitigation, detox efforts, and value proposition improvements.
8. Drive complaint investigation related to product composition, specification, or manufacturing related complaints.
9. Technical support of existing or future UVR Tolling activities.
